Question 1: What is an Evolt360 (BIA) scan, and what does it measure?

It’s a quick, non-invasive body composition scan that measures over 40 metrics, including fat mass, lean mass, muscle distribution, visceral fat, hydration levels, and your metabolic rate.

Question 2: How is this different from stepping on a scale?

A regular scale tells you weight. That’s it. The Evolt360 shows what your weight is made of — muscle, fat, water, minerals, and more — so you can make smart, informed decisions.?

Question 3: Is the scan safe?

Yes! It uses low-level bioelectrical impedance — safe for adults and completely non-invasive. However, we don’t recommend it during pregnancy or if you have a pacemaker.

Question 4: How long does it take?

The scan takes under 60 seconds. You’ll step on, grab the handles, and boom — your internal blueprint is ready.

Question 5: What should I do before my scan for best results?

Question 6: How often should I scan?

Every 4–6 weeks is ideal to track meaningful progress without chasing day-to-day fluctuations.

Question 7: Will my weight go up if I gain muscle?

Yes — and that’s a good thing. Muscle is dense, healthy, and burns fat. That’s why we don’t chase scale weight — we build strength and track composition.

Question 8: What’s a healthy body fat percentage?

It depends on age, gender, and goals — but generally, men aim for 10–20%, and women 18–28%. The scan gives you clear ranges to shoot for.

Question 9: Can I use this to build muscle or lose fat?

Absolutely. Your scan tells us exactly how much lean mass and fat you have — so we can create a precise nutrition and training strategy to hit your goals.

Question 10: What is visceral fat and why does it matter?

Visceral fat surrounds your organs. Even lean people can have it. High levels increase risk of heart disease, diabetes, and inflammation. The scan reveals where you stand.

Question 11: What if I’m retaining water — will that affect my results?

Yes — excess water (especially outside the cells) can temporarily inflate lean mass or mask fat loss. That’s why hydration timing and prep are crucial. We’ll coach you through it.

Question 12: What do Total Body Water (TBW), ICF, and ECF mean?

TBW = total fluid in your body.
ICF = water inside your muscle cells (where hydration really counts).
ECF = water outside your cells — too much here can signal stress or inflammation.

Question 13: Is this just for athletes or bodybuilders?

Nope. This scan is for every human who wants to feel better, look better, and take control of their health.

Question 14: How does this help with fat loss?

We use your scan to identify your fat mass, metabolic rate, and caloric needs — then dial in your food, training, and recovery so you burn fat the smart way.

Question 15: Can this track muscle gain over time?

Yes. You’ll see exact changes in skeletal muscle mass, lean mass, and protein levels — so you know if your training is actually building muscle.

Question 16: What’s BMR and TEE?

BMR is your Basal Metabolic Rate — how many calories you burn at rest.

TEE is your Total Energy Expenditure — how many you burn per day including activity.

Question 17: Can dehydration affect my scan?

Big time. Low hydration can make you look like you lost muscle, gained fat, or shrunk. That’s why we track fluid balance with every scan.

Question 18: Will this tell me if my diet is working?

Yes. If your diet is on point, you’ll see improvements in fat %, muscle mass, visceral fat, hydration, and energy levels — not just weight loss.

Question 19: How do I read the scan results?
